  1. Checking in from the UK. It is time to speak the truth: The players aren’t the problem; the process is.

It is disingenuous for a coach to slate his team’s ‘culture’ when his own strategy acts like a speed limiter on their talent. You cannot coach elite players to play with hesitation and then blame them for a lack of passion.

Outshooting elite teams 63–46 but losing proves the effort was there, but the playbook was flawed. A leader provides solutions; they don't publicly deflect blame to protect their own reputation. The repair is done—it's time for a mandate that actually trusts this roster to win.

  2. "Yeah, I saw Ricky the Faker, team is broke, 95% of the teams are losing dumptrucks of money, currency is totally worthless, Ricky the Faker is a really bad actor too"

  3. 18:22 Charlie's answer here is exactly what Bones is talking about. Without saying it directly, Coyle admits it's not the same losing here as it was in Boston. There is a culture surrounding the Jackets organization that mediocrity is acceptable, and that travels from the front office, to the players, to the league referees, down to the fans. We all accept it and treat it as acceptable. Bones is right, THAT needs to change.
