Boomer, Pinder and Rhett dive into one of the more surprising stories of the season: the breakout year from Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Darren Raddysh. With Raddysh producing at a point-per-game pace and putting together a career season seemingly out of nowhere, the guys debate what his next contract could look like as he approaches unrestricted free agency. Is this the start of a true breakout for the Lightning blue-liner, or a career year that could make his next deal a risky bet? The crew breaks down Raddysh’s production, his value to Tampa Bay, and what the Lightning might be willing to pay to keep him around.

I’ve been wondering why no one is talking about him so far. 3 straight 40 pt seasons, playing big minutes all year. This guy isn’t gonna sign a Tampa sweetheart deal because his career earnings are less than 5 million.
Raddy …7 million times 7 yrs?
Im a big Tampa fan. Raddysh is good… he's not a #2 or 3. He's a #4.
Why is this happening? Three reasons:
His shot is more accurate this year.
He's on a PP with Kuch.
His D partner is JJ Moser, easily the most underrated D man in the league and its not close.
