I think a number of us at least hope Werenski would be amenable to a move to Detroit, and that Stevie is circling. Then again, I would also point out how some of us thought Larkin was gonna ask for a trade after last season's complaint about not making a deal at the deadline.
If anything larkin is coming to columbus. Werenski not getting traded or leaving columbus.
"If you are a Detroit Red Wings fan, you might want to listen" and then goes on to glaze their fans with the most idiotic and nonsensical trade idea that is coming from NOWHERE credible.
If the coach calls a team soft and a star player wants out because of that, the coach is right and you don't want that star player. On the other hand, I'm not sure how some guy tweeting "He's heard rumours" and some other guy tweeting "Makes sense to me" becomes news.

I rather have Detroit sign Zach Werenski in the Summer of 2028 for nothing than give up a ton of assets. I can wait 2 more years. Zach Werenski would have to force Columbus hand and accept a trade only to Detroit for a lower return, similar to the DeBrincat trade. If Zach Werenski walks in 2 years. Detroit's 2028-2029 line-up could look like this:
