Lets do some Drury Math, the Kids looked good closing out the season so now Drury has to bring in veterans that have more Playoff experience and sit the kids. He is a Little League World Series winner so Drury knows best.

I felt that Gavrikov should have been traded before the deadline after he made his unhappiness known. Trocheck may still have some upside, but this team needs A LOT more than a good face-off man playing on a 1st or 2nd line. Additionally, JT Miller has been a big disappointment in his second term with The Rangers. Am I a Drury fan ? Absolutely not ! Do I think he is steered by Dumb Dolan ? YES !
Remember, this is an organization with ONE Stanley Cup in almost 90 years !!! The failures go beyond Drury, Sullivan, and Dolan. Perhaps Mark Messier SHOULD have been given an opportunity to lead this team. Imagine having a proven winner, respected hockey mind, and revered man as a leader again ?
Until this organization has a major overhaul, I cannot be optimistic. Shame.

Look ranger fans I'm in Calgary Alberta and we had trevling and he screwed up our team so bad it'll take Conroy years to fix the flames. Same in new York fire dury and start a good retool and hire a good g.m with a good record and a good focus for the rangers… thanks a old time hockey fan.

Gavrikov might have been frustrated at certain points, but I call BALONEY on him wanting out of the NYR. He played in a system that more than doubled his career high in goals & was the team’s TOI leader. He could easily slide back into being a middling guy on another team.
If Drury keeps Sheary and Rempe on this team, they will finish in last place again next year.

If I were a gambler I would think Drury will find a way to screw this team up even more than what it is now and I hope he has no plans on trading the young prospects that have given the fans a sign of hope for next season and most of all stop picking up players that are ready for retirement.
