Another fun thing to throw in on the coaching battle, former head coach Jay Woodcroft is an assistant in Anaheim now. Will that have an impact? I have no idea but it’s interesting to think about
I don't share your same opinion of this one being super close.. if you look at their recent performances it's pretty telling. Wouldn't be surprised to see Oilers in 5 (providing they can have at least solid goaltending).

Die Hard Ducks fan from Wisconsin. I'm so proud of this team regardless if we win or lose this series. These still super young Ducks are back in the playoffs. So for this season at least the mission is accomplished. I know right now it looks like Edmonton's winning this series. But I got to have faith in my guys. Underdogs have won it all before, and if any team knows how to get that Hollywood ending it's the Mighty Ducks.

Oilers have been winning round 1 in the playoffs year after year since 2022 but haven't swept anyone yet…would love to finally see it happen since it hasn't happened since 1990
After going to the Cup Finals 2 years in a row and having been a contender for a long time now, it's time for Edmonton to take a step bak and likely go out in the 1st round during an Olympic year. Can the Ducks surprise what I see as an exhausted Oilers team? Yep.

Don't you need some semblance of defence in the playoffs? Anaheim has the worst GAA and defensive numbers of all teams in the playoffs.

RNH has dropped off a hill if you've been watching this season. No PK, 3rd line, and he's probably 3rd line winger when Dickinson comes back. And the 4th line might get more minutes then the 3rd on a lot of nights here.
I have the Oilers in 5 but the Ducks can definitely push this to 6 games.
The Dach brothers are 2 totally different players. 1 hits everything the other is more poibt producing. Nothing about the brothers game are the same.
Ingram has not been shaky, super steady and gotten better and better over the season.
Oilers during the past 10 or so games is 2nd in the league defensively, I would honestly be shocked if Oilers allowed a lot of goals.

I’m going Edmonton for this one. Too much playoff experience on that team, compared to a Ducks team that’s very young on average. I agree about these games being high-scoring. Edmonton in 5, maybe 6.

Going in to this series, the most polarizing thing is the disparity between the Ducks LHD and RHD.
On LHD they have an average age of 23 years old and a combined 0 NHL play-off games played.
On RHD they have an average age of 34,3 years old and a combined 260 NHL play-off games played, including a Stanley Cup champion.

I'd prefer the Ducks win but I can't see them holding off that Oilers offense. McDavid and Draisaitl are too strong for this team
