Sorry, you overlook the Wild slapped Dallas around with the exception of Gustavsson's non- playoff attitude choking a couple away. You may have Jamie Benn but Wild have MacCarron,Trenin, Foligno, Foligno!!! Wyat Johnston is small, Sam Steel is smaa and Maverick Bourque is meh as far as size!
Wrensky needed to bring that into a player only team meeting, not the press. It is enough to make you scream when a team is essentially dropping their pants on their fanbase. They have the entire summer to lemon squeaze! To change the culture you need to slowly bring in players to build a team that is a destination. Some markets have a much easier lode to bear…year round weather, housing, tax environment. Then you do need both draft luck and savvy. Billy Guerin has fought every one of these curses. Only this season has anyone really looked at Minnesota Wild as a destination team! Some luck, some committed players at the right time to build on! Team facilities – look at Vancouver…no practice facility. Look at Matt Boldy's contract, Joel Ericksson EK…contracts that are great deals at the time of cap escalation after extreme punishment for Parisi & Suter buyouts. These are irreplaceable and hard to replicate events and in some cases impossible to get around to the other side…
what Bowness did was a pre planned stunt along with the GM in order to solidify their positions and change the narrative among the fans less than 24 hours after that they announced he signed they planned this and they seemed to have fooled everyone too from what I can tell it wasn’t a problem with effort it was a talent shortage that last game shouldn’t be a barometer

I think Montreal still has more gas in the tank. Demidov, Slaf, Cole, Nate, Dobes, Suzuki, Matheson, Anderson, Reimbacher aren't ready to throw the towel in. I get that the Lightning are literally the best team in the East, but if anyone can do it in the east… it's the Habs. Habs in 7.5

great Pod, Boys! It'll be cool to see what happens in this year's playoffs. I think BUF is going to surprise TBH. Sadly EDM is probably a 1st round exit given they have inconsistent goaltending yet again.
