When was the last time an offersheet actually was offered (the high end 4 first round picks version)? This has been changed to 2 firsts a 2nd and a 3rd.
Edit: answer is Chris Gratton in freaking 1997 almost 30 years ago (pre cap era BTW).
Another absolutely disaster season down thee toilet. At what point are we going to see improvement because this team severely regressed this season. Bedard barely hit 30 goals and has already been surpassed by Celebrini. The team can't score more than 3 goals in a game. The defense is atrocious, and our coach has never won anything.

I was really looking forward to finally getting some reality and feet held to fire at these pressers but a cleverly timed contract extension and one good period gave them just enough wiggle room to keep the hopium and gas lighting going. I’m so fucking sick of seeing one thing with my eyes and being told another. If your plan, and it sounds like it is, is to ice this same team and bank on everyone clicking and coming along at the same time while fans and players are expecting playoffs, it’s going to be another long season. Never in the history of ever has an entire team been drafted and had success. Never in the history of ever has an entire d corps been U24 and had any real success. Yes, there are some positives with individual players, the bad doesn’t completely outweigh the good…but there HAS to be a different approach at some point, the wheels have to start turning. We can’t just perpetually work on this car in the garage and never turn the key and see if we got it working
