Would be the biggest surprise if Kings beat the Avs. Avs dominated the league most of the season and Kings have been struggling most of the season and barely made it into the playoffs. Honestly I’m rooting for them, would be such a cinderella story

This shouldn’t be competitive at all. Not saying I don’t understand the parody of the NHL but the kings are 20th in the league… are a -22 goal diff.
Wedgewood has the best save % and the best GAA in the league by a healthy margin. He's never mentioned in the Vezina conversation.
Kings are toast, they dont have the ability to hang with any aspect of this Avs team, easiest call in round 1.

Kings fan since 68. Yes in a 7 game series anything can happen. We are going to be lucky to not get swept. Forsberg will start game 1. He is on a hot streak. Our D. Is too old and slow to stop the Avs.
I believe this should be a sweep for the Avs. They have been preparing for the playoffs since mid March. They are gonna be ready to compete and thrash anyone who stands in there way. If the kings get a game props to them but colorado will either sweep them outright or its a gentleman sweep
The Avs have allowed 43 less goals than the Kings this season. They have a +90 goal differential where the Kings are at -22
Since Laughton arrived the Kings have been the 4th best faceoff team in the NHL
Not only should Darcy Kuemper not get any Vezina votes, if he starts either of games 1 or 2, fire the coach there and then, if Forsberg stinks it up sure whatever, but he’s been TERRIBLE post Olympics. He’s only had a .900 or better in 6 of his 15 starts since the Olympics and it was against the Islanders twice, the Flames, the Canucks, the Rangers, and the only playoff team the Bruins. Now I get that the D-men in front of him aren’t great, but he is not helping himself out at all

As a Kings fan, hoping for an Avs sweep so we can get a front office sweep in the off-season.
We got rid of Brock Faber and Sean Durzi for Ceci and Brian.
Die hard avs fan here. If anyone thinks the avs are going to dog walk the kings, they are not living in reality. I know the avs have destroyed them this season but they are a legit good defensive team. This will be a good series. I think the avs take it in 5 but it won't be a walk in the park.

I'm glad Jesse addressed the Kuemper for Vezina conversation because I didn't know where that was coming from. Also, I think LA showed at the end of the season that Forsberg is their starter rn.
