Tough matchup against the Avs. Go Kings!

This is what you all wanted, to be embarrassed and get swept in Kopitars last . Major draft implications due to making the playoffs, no chance at the lottery and the trade with Toronto now becomes a 2 round pick to Toronto, good job leadership
Looking at the 16 teams that made the dance this season and Kings are by far the worst team. Not for the mediocrity of the western conference and especially Pacific div, they have no business even playing those extra 4 games. Rarely do I look at the series and see a sweep. In 5 years, this is definitely the weakest Kings team entering the playoffs. Bottom line, nothing has changed. Organization still has no future direction with aging players, unimpressive bottom six and nothing much in the prospect pool other than couple of unproven netminders.
OT wins is a funny tiebreaker. I don’t see Avs as worse. The upside is facing a stellar component to grow.

I think it may be easier for the kings to play the Avs than Edmonton or Vegas. Ducks would have been ideal. All that said, everyone expects them to lose in 4 games. I say cmon boys, let’s go prove the curse is real! Nothing to lose!

Kopi's family was in Calgary because up until 3 weeks ago this WAS supposed to be his last NHL game. And he looked pissed because they were supposed to travel back to Slovenia tomorrow and the airline wouldn't change his tickets to 10 days from now without a huge fee 😅

Enough experience and youth. but is there enough consistency? Maybe. They've been playing well together for the past month. The Av's will prob win the series…but you always gotta keep the dream alive! don't be so negative
Always look at how a team is playing for the past few weeks. This will tell you everything. Throw away the entire season prior to Panarin showing up.
