Love it…guy cares. How could you not want to play for him? Perhaps I am just so used to the Leafs giving bland, corporate answers to everything and never feeling real. Never feeling like they care, even if they do. I'd love it if any coach had ripped them like that. Would be very satisfying.
why are these "incredible" comments?!?! These guys are getting MILLIONS to skate around a rink and do 2 things: score and fight! There needs to be accountability, and thank God that guys like Rick are still around to call them up on it!

The NHL commissioner, NHL team owners & the NHL general managers have allowed for wokeness to ruin the National Hockey League. The reason players are like they are now is because of them. Until things change with the three levels I mentioned nothing changes for the coaches. I am sorry they have to deal with this nonsense.

Blue Jackets fan, and these guys (and the organization as a whole) need to hear this kind of stuff.
Brad Larsen and Pascal Vincent weren't good enough coaches to win with this team, but Dean Evason and Rick Bowness should have been able to get them into the playoffs.
Two years in a row the team falls apart for two-three weeks and drops out of contention. We need depth and at least one superstar performance at forward, but we mainly need to win when it matters.
And when a player says the same, he gets trashed by internet fans.
