the reason this team keeps wiping out coaches/rosters & failing is because they're trying to build on a weak foundation. Larkin is not a leader or captain material at all. Trade that clown and start a proper rebuild

theres no way kane isnt coming back, debrincat is the homie and also has a year left on his contract. i think next year is gonna be legit. yeah they came up short but this was the first season since the rebuild that things started to fall into place. everyone here gives yzerman a lot of crap but ya know what the first 3-4 years he was cleaning up hollands mess, people like to easily forget that, so in his 7th year this was good progress. as a lifelong wings fan im very hopeful for the future. the wings are known to have one of the deepest prospect pools. the goalies and more dynamic players are on the way. you have to go thru seeing some shit years to really earn being a true fan and a lot of you fairweather assholes in the comments here need to change your perspective and attitude overall.
The leadership group for next year should be: Seider: C, Kane: A, DeBrincat: A
The only excuse for Raymond's lackluster play this year is that he has been playing with a hurt shoulder all year since the second Leafs game. Last year he disappeared down the street too but 2 years ago when we missed on the tie breaker he was literally THE MAN
Step 1: Sign a top six player Step 2: resign kane Step 3: bring up younger players to replace jerseys Step 4: get enforcer Step 5: better make playoffs
Larkin needs to stripped of his Captaincy and needs to be moved to 2 or 3 C – where he delivers like on team USA! The Wings need to get a better 1C this offseason but who could you get. I don’t even want to hear EP40. But the bottom 6 are the real issue.
First. Seems the media team for the Wings wanted to wait for things to cool off. Late on this upload.
Second. It's time for some meaningful change in the team. Out with the old. Remove the Gm, keep the coach, release Kane. This team needs more grit. Bring in some enforcers like the Lightning, Panthers, Bruins all have. People who can lay hits, win fights, and make the other teams thing twice before taking our captain out for 7 games. Second. Bring up cosa from the griffins. We need a younger goalie then who we have. Talbot and Gibson are great. However, they seem to be very inconsistent. We need goal scorers. Not twilight players like. Kane, for as good as he was. Is not that good now. His season was mid at best. Then the defense. They really need to step up their game. Its the one area, beside 5v5 goal scoring, we need a lot of work in.
Now that you all are in rhe off season. Time to put in the work to start the 26 27 season off strong. This upcoming last game is meaningless to win or lose. Just focus on the next season. As a long time fan. Nearly 30 years. I'm disappointed in this teams efforts this year. That said. I still hold hope you guy figure things out and be kick butt again.
I think Kane should sign with Chicago and go help Bedard out while Kane gets ready to retire. I'm sure they'd retire his number in the rafters there if he did that.

What’s the fucking ask? He’s only good on the power-play 515 he came in and tell his in the game bring in some real hockey players. He’s too old now.
He is not a playoff type player you need somebody tough and he can play hard not easy hockey like regular

I wasn’t too big on Kane staying but I think he’ll be a big help next season if he stays healthy
