  1. I’ve never given a fraction in one day of the amount of high fives I gave downtown at the parade and on the Arch grounds!! So many high fives.
    And ZERO crime

  2. And I used to think a lot of that Cup win was due to Columbus pulling off their own little Cinderella sweep in the first round against Tampa. But I think they'd have won regardless who came out of the East. It was that winning combination of a confident team clicking and earning wins, and fate.

  3. That year (or part of the year) was carved out of seemingly nowhere. A large part of that team was essentially the same for the past few, and so you wonder why it took so long for that bond to start snapping into place like it did. Not complaining though.

  4. I was living in Dallas at the time. I had six buddies come down from St. Louis for the blues and stars game in January when the blues won. Beat the stars on their home ice. I always thought that’s when the season turned around. Got a great picture with bobby plager the game.

  5. Bobby Bortz was a freaking beauty as a Blue. He’d do whatever the team needed and do it with a smile and with passion and grit.

  6. RE CREATE THE PLAYOFFS!!?!
#1 IN THE WEST BS #8 IN THE EAST, AND VICE VERSA. THE BEST TEAMS WILL SURFACE FOR EVERY ROUND TIL THEI FINALS!!!! BARRING THE USUAL UPSETS😂😂😂😂😂

  7. Whats it going to take for management to do the right thing? And retire twisters and chasers numbers up in the raptors? Without them two the Blues Superstars would have never Accomplished as good as they did.

  8. In game 3 vs Winnepeg, Bortuzzo blocks a shot off his hand/wrist and was bent over on the bench in what I imagine was the worst pain. I thought for sure he broke his wrist (maybe he did?). 4 minutes later he went over the boards and did it again on his next shift. He didn't miss a single shift! That moment I thought to myself "this team is something special". Willing to do what it took to win.

  9. Blues weren't a steamroller, they were a wrecking ball. Boston's journey to SCF, they rolled after beating the Leafs until they got StL.
I still remember the look on Marchand's face after game 7.
Aves and Wings fans later shared the joy they had in that moment.
