These two men saved the NHL and created the next generation of superstars
The Twenty Year Club, LeTang, Malkin, Syd and Ovi, made possible since '05 because of rule changes which allowed more freedom on the ice surface to not get high sticked, chopped, to allow 2/3 rink passes without offsides. It helped their careers immensely.
