  1. Respect gentlemen, I’m a Wild fan and am just sad our first round streak would certainly end if this format didn’t exist where now it’s gonna be a dog fight I could see going either way. I’d feel worse too if Dallas was full strength

Forward edge – slightly Dallas if Hintz plays then especially

Defense edge – a bit Minnesota not as much as people think though it’s close

Goalie edge – honestly tied going into the series, Wild can flip between 2 if 1 struggles but I’d initially trust Oettinger more than both especially against his hometown team

  2. I’m definitely giving the goaltending edge to the Wild. Otter is the biggest wildcard there is in this series. I’m not confident in him.

  3. As a Wild fan, thank you for making me feel more confident about our chances lol I am terrified of Dallas. Also fwiw, Kaprizov and Boldy play on different lines. Gonna be a banger of a series!

  4. Finally a Stars fan that realizes that Dallas is playing as a very banged up team. I know they are talented, but you are only as good as the players that are on the ice. The Wild are MUCH more physical and historically the first round of the playoffs are much more swallow the whistle type of games which does not favor Dallas. In a single game I'd say it's probably Dallas 60/ Minn 40 percent of the time, but this is a series. If Dallas can mitigate guys getting injured or get more healthy I would give them a bigger chance. On the other hand if the Wild come out playing fast and hitting hard I believe they will wear out Dallas.

  5. Wild fan here. I hope everyone is healthy as possible for both teams. I think this series is appointment viewing for all hockey fans, probably the best matchup i can think of unless things change in the East. I hate Jamie Benn unless he was on our team! I hope this series had the rough stuff kind of weeded out in game "0" that's a great way of putting that. I just hope nobody gets their wires too crossed and does something stupid to injure someone either way, the world will be robbed of great hockey if anyone goes down on either team. You guys have some good analysis for a bunch of guys who look so damn young, keep it up!
