Dahlin shows us the difference between a crosscheck push and a crosscheck, both on Arvidsson π
Rasmus Dahlin legally tries to eliminate Viktor Arvidsson from the play with a crosscheck push, and then he illegally finishes the job with a crosscheck.

I don't know why I was expecting a subtle difference, great illustration but man he kinda smoked him!
And you wonder why no one likes him
Dahlin doesnΒ΄t go easy on his countryman
βWhy do I keep getting attacked?β
And people wonder why Malkin did what he did to Dahlin. When you play like that, expect to eat some lumber.
Is this one of those " let the playera police themselves " moments ? Arvidson with an arguable no call interference, and then Dahlin retaliates with a crosscheck. And refs are just like , eh boys being boys .
I get the Arvidsson interference, but what about Dahlin? He grabs Arvidsson's shoulder to help him down to the ice, if you're going to call 1 call both..
The pre check i common.
Dahlin loves the crosscheck push down on the hips of opponents. He did it to Gage Goncalves and injured him, tried it to Brayden Point a few seconds later and Point slashed the fuck outta his foot for it.
To quote the great Steve Dangle:"Cross-checking is legal in the NHL"
dahlin crosschecks to troll all the keyboard warriors mad about him crosschecking
That's Dahlin's specialty. Crosscheck to your back. Dahlin is like most Swedes, gutless
Dahlin is a cheap bastard. Not for these hits but heβs been getting jumped for some sneaky cross checks. Doesnβt seem to want to engage when confronted. Heβs either trying to agitate or heβs just unwilling to fight but he loves giving small annoying cross checks.
Look up the coach Jeremy video with Dahlin.. he talks about these cross check moves a little bit
