Not bad at all for an official “retooling” team likeable hardworking core of players obviously not a cup contender but can still be competitive against the alpha types from the tomato belt and the revamped MON & BUF wagons not gonna complain about extra hockey, just have measured expectations and enjoy

They built the team for mediocrity and that is what you are seeing now and will continue to see season after season. Until they go there will be no Stanley Cup in Boston.
Gotta give some of the Olympic guys some days off especially #73 and #88 it’s been a grind for them to get every teams best against them every night. H Lindholm looks tired too. Might as well the competition is fierce ahead of them.
Can't even be mad. They traded there captain last year, a future hof and traded a vezina winning goalie in preparation for a "re tool". And yet they have remained competitive and are in the playoffs, basically playing with house money here.
