Gil can You Do a Show with a Video of the Janitor Cleaning out the Locker Room Next Week Time To Rebuild These Guys Leave Sorokin To Hang Out And Dry hopefully we have a Exiting Summer And Get the Yong kids on the ice That’s the solution to the problem you’re not fixing the problem grabbing 28 2930 year-old guys and giving them stupid no move cause contracts. The ridiculousness has to stop somewhere.🧡LGI💙
D were absolutely horrible, can't keep puck in zone and just lazy, 13 was his usual turnover machine. Team didn't shoot, what happened since last game? Wouldn't hurt to backhand one on net once in awhile when you have a chance, awful showing today
It's for the best. IMO they don't deserve it. They just aren't deep enough and the power play has been absent for years. Ottawa remember is trying to play their best hockey after a slow start and needed this game too. I bet Eklund would be great on the power play with Barzy and Schneider.
I guess it’s only right the Islanders season ends going 0-5 on the power-play and giving up a shorthanded goal, the team looked old and slow thanks Matthew for the great trades you made at the deadline
Couldn't even show up!!! At home and couldn't show any heart. I have not seen a team with less drive then this one. Wasted Schaefers stellar year. I dont care who is behind the bench with this group its going nowhere fast. Sorokin will never ever be a big time goalie can't come up with the big save to help your team out and I dont care how many shutouts he has when the chips are down he doesn't show up hence the .867 in todays game.
Whatever this team had going before the Olympic break is long gone. I’m fine with them not making the playoffs b cause they are not a playoff caliber team. The combined talent level just isn’t there. There’s too much wrong just to single out one or two guys. Hoping for some major moves this offseason.
Was at rhe game. Sat at the isles end 10’rows up and got a a pretty good look at the D. It was clear Ottawa was taking the ilses D pulock, pelech, mayfield and soucy wide with speeed all game. They were reaching and getting beat wide all game long. Debeor quickly found out what Roy, lbert and trotz already know. The team is old with no skill. This roster has to be overhauled with D and scoring being top priorities. Whether they can get both remains to be seen but. I mean Pulock and pelech and mayfield are cooked. Ughh
The P.P. Has been horrendous for years. The Sens are a tough team to beat,they’ve had our #all year long. If they can’t get up for these big games,than others deserve it more than us. Look at the Flyers,And Buffalo,basement dwellers around Christmas. We can only hope that The Canadians and Carolina sit some of there players,these last 2 games.
It's about time we fire DeBoer and bring in a coach with fresh ideas. He's lost the room. Perhaps we can even get a new coach bump just before the playoffs.
Holy batman, that powerplay is atrocious. Soucy and Schenn are terrible, can't believe we traded for those 2, not worth a bag of pucks. And we have both I think for 2 years.
As much as id like to see Isles in playoffs . They fail the eye test, the last few weeks showed me they are not a deserving team . But i think the future is bright !
Barzal seems very lazy. Looks like he Doesn’t hustle. Puck will be dumped in and he isn’t coming in hard to prevent the d from getting the puck out. Pulock is slow. Terrible tripping penalty. He aggravates me at time. Team apparently didn’t want it bad enough.
