Spence will be gone by next year. He has priced himself out of town. Which is awesome for him.

Bad luck forced the Sens to develop Spence and it has paid off. The guy is a better D man than he would’ve developed anywhere else in the league, given the ice time he would have gotten. You aren’t going to find a top four D man who is as skilled, young, and knows your system. Pay him.
