If we’re drafting Caleb Malhotra at #3 oa, we should not be planning on making Manny the head coach. It would cause too much drama.
Even if Canucks get a top pick. Management/ownership will fuck it up. Embarrassing franchise.
The problem with acquiring Shane Wright, that would give the Canucks two 2nd line centers. Neither Rossi or Wright are strong enough to be a first line center.
And we all know the Canucks are going to draft 3rd. I’d rather take Verhoeff over Reid. Draft Canadian hockey players!! Have we learned nothing about drafting US players??

I'm scared this mgmt group will move picks to try and accelerate this rebuild. I don't mind if they can get value with a young high ceiling player (e.g. Shane Wright for a decent price) but they have to avoid repeating Vey or Baertschi type moves.
