This actually works?!

The Anaheim Ducks snap a brutal stretch after being booed off the ice, and Leo Carlsson responds in a BIG way against the San Jose Sharks. Carlsson sets the tone early with what might be the best goal of his career, while Beckett Sennecke, Mason McTavish, and Alex Killorn help power a full team effort built on physicality, forechecking, and desperation hockey. John Carlson takes over on the power play, scoring back-to-back goals to complete his first career hat trick, while the Ducks lock down Macklin Celebrini and control the game. Frank Vatrano adds to the scoring as Anaheim cruises to a 6–1 win and gets back in control of their playoff destiny. With a huge matchup against the Vancouver Canucks ahead, can the Ducks carry this momentum and clinch a playoff spot? #nhl #anaheimducks #sanjosesharks #macklincelebrini #icehockey #playoffs

  1. Yay! The universe told them it was my bday and to sort it out😂❤🎉 Thanks lads. Now stay with this momentum. I know you can do it!
I know you guys have got to be tired at this points. Injuries even wee ones probably are compounded at this point, but know holding the cup will give you such an adrenaline rush those even remotely in proximity can steal that energy. Just a tad longer of great play you y'all will have this.

  2. As a new fan, I’ve been trying to understand the Carlson trade. I was like dude is old… puts up a hatty on my dumbass lol

  3. That Carlsson goal is something mcdavid does every night… if we can get him doing that every other game holy shit he’ll be a 100+ pt player easy

  4. IMO that was a Stanley worthy team that played yesterday… fantastic. Was worried tho cuz that’s exactly how the game started two weeks ago when they played the sharks lol

  5. Hmm what to say what to say. Quacks dominated the fish tonight. Good job.
Right now if they win out and the Soilers lose a few they might be able to over take them for #1 seed. And if my Kings win out, and Vegas falters, Kings can grab the #3 seed and again face the Soilers for the 5th straight year. Lol

  6. The Ducks forecheck disrupted The Sharks all game as shown on Anaheim's 2nd goal where the Shark was so preoccupied with getting back at Sennecke for his hit that he totally missed the puck as it flew into the net. J. Carlson's smile was only matched by his team-mates joy for his hattie, the Ducklings seem pleased having the old lad around + his vibes are a huge positive.

  7. Happy with this win but 6 games in a row?! i'm sorry but how? why? They need to bury that in the past and lets get back to the way that got the Ducks to the top of the table.

  8. Finally the Ducks won a game. It's felt like forever and I was so worried. A nasty goal from Carlsson and a first career hatty from Carlson! They almost completely shut down the sharks. What a game!

  9. Imagine that. If the defense takes care of the blue line, and doesn't constantly start cheating in the zone thinking they are on offense, not many shorthanded chances, and the actual offense can do what they need to do. And if we are going to have any chance in the playoffs, this is the version of Vatrano we need. He was constantly moving, and in the right places all game. Still have to temper the expectations that this team still rides on line 1 and 2 boom or bust. But 60 minutes of effort like against the Sharks, and we will go far.

  10. Booing our Ducks definitely gave our Ducks a wakeup call because, as you said,' unlike previous several seasons ' Ducks are capable this season ' this Bi Polar Hockey playing from phenomenal to disaster stops now " Ducks need to keep this solids fierce playing this way I'm still nervous about Canucks on Sunday' the mental trama our Ducks have caused putting us through this season giving us high hopes then crashing ' is too much to bare

  11. That wasn't a Ducks team. They were wearing Ducks jerseys but those were imposters. Hired guns maybe. They checked, knocked guys off the puck, pinned guys in the corners. THat's just not who this team is. But whoever it was who showed up last night, keep them.

  12. It’s been one wild season. The boys played with more heart than I’ve seen most seasons. Hard hitting, long passes. Zero calls till almost 10 left in the 3rd was wild.

  13. No jacket may have been because it was a team effort, everyone pulled their weight. I saw 4 ducks attacking Celebrini at one point, they were relentless. I hope they continue this style.

  14. Will say even after the 5th goal they were still pressing until the last 20 seconds of the third. They wanted to play a complete game and it shows. They need to keep it up, if they do I think they’ll surprise folks come post season.

  15. That Carlsson goal was fantastic. Haven't seen that kind of stick handling and finish since the likes of Selanne, Kariya, Ryan, Lupul.

Can't wait until Cutter is back to score some big playoff goals with Carlsson.

  16. like i said on the other video it was all just a bad dream the ducks were just drunk and they finally sobered up and realized oh shiz guys we still need to clinch playoffs lets go do that lol. All i know is I had to stop myself from crying the other night had to hold it together till we see that last win that clinches the playoff spot but you better believer if we win sunday I will be balling like a damn baby. It has been far too long since playoffs friends and I am happy to experience it all with you through the interwebs. Lets go ducks.
