Sadly for everyone involved, the Islanders chose a really bad time to have the worst week of their season dropping four straight games in regulation to drop from potential home ice in the playoffs to barely hanging by a thread. In a pressure-filled dash to towards the end, the teams around them rose to the occasion while the Isles tumbled on the ice and on down the standings, costing head coach Patrick Roy his job on Easter Sunday. With only four games remaining, Peter DeBoer takes over as a last-ditch hope to salvage what long looked like a campaign extending into the post-season. Sean & Arthur cover the huge shakeup, what it means going forward, with former Islanders Micheal Haley and Josh Bailey joining the discussion.

just started the episode, but no way Haley and Bailey! your guys' guest pulls continue to impress!
2/11/11, Look it up. Penguins had taken liberties on the Islanders in previous games. Michael, Trevor, and all the boys had enough. Give huge respect to that team for grabbing their jocks and remembering that they are men. Put Penguins back in check by knocking their arrogant teeth down their throats. Huge respect to Coach Capuano for making that happen. Turned the whole team around. Gave birth to the very solid teams 2017-2022. Even skill players like Josh (#12) threw hands. I still watch the replay to this day. Thank you. Go Islanders.
Suggesting that Malkin should sell is probably the worst comment in the history of YouTube.
Appreciated Haley's take. Love guys like that.
He's been a great leader and we've all benefitted from that. Well said, Bails! Lee has been a solid leader on and off the ice and helped build the fabric of this team over his captaincy. Will this be it for Anders?
