Leafs should go for the best of the best available!!, …no 2nd choice, get the damn best, Leafs have the money, and its high visibiliry, hgh position, as a GM you cant do better…..but for goodness sake, no more traditional, been around the league twice guys……..Leafs need a smart, agressive GM, not some guy who has been around forever…i really disliked Dubas, he made some good moves, and some bad ones (Moore and Marchment trades ugghhh} but he was not a old style GM,,,,that clubby "you do this, ill do that' nudge nudge wink wink stuff is over….clean house, get a new GM/ President and let them clean up the mess that is the Maple Leafs…i dont want to watch another season like this one, i would rather watch Mary Tyler Moore re-runs!!

As much as i want them to tank for the pick this year. Im hesitant to get on board for the simple fact being that having 2 straight years of unprotected firsts is a nightmare scenario. Imagine we get the pick this year from Boston and next year our pick is unprotected and Boston gets it and we say suck next year and then somehow win the lottery and Boston drafts Landon DuPont. Nope id rather not hv that happen. Give Boston the pick this year and be done with it.
