It's time for a yard sale!
The Canucks should just clean house and start fresh with Malhotra behind the bench with a commitment to a full and proper rebuild.
Malhotra should also be included in deciding on which kind of players the Canucks should draft and trade for.
Foote is not the coach for the future for the kids. Allvin gave him this team and look where it is. Time for manny and RJ to step in
Ever since the Canucks kicked a reporter out of the arena, all these reporters and pundits are running stories about management being replaced. As he said, a week ago he thought Alvin's job was completely safe.

How many more bad deals and ill-advised press conferences have to happen by this front office before it's beyond clear that they need to be gone. And Foote needs to be replaced with someone with HC experience. How could anyone who holds a position of decision making within the Canucks organisation be happy with how things have been handled in the last 3 years – going back to the Boudreau treatment ?

Two rookie coaches in two years? That sounds like a recipe for success…
So when Tampa, Chicago, Florida, Edmonton, LA, San Jose, etc etc decide things aren't going well and they sell off assets and go for a top pick in the draft it's all good. But when the Canucks do the same it's incompetent or just disengenuous. What? Shut up and let them suck for a while.

Fire Rutherford! Fire Allvin! Ever since these two arrived in Vancouver, the team has gone down the toilet. Are we supposed to wait 5 or 10 more years for their "Rebuild" to take effect? The loyal fans deserve a lot better. We used to get good hockey and now it's just crap. And things are getting so bad, that it would not be a surprise if Aquilini actually put the franchise up for sale. It's a serious possibility — why not? An NHL franchise is worth about $2 Billion US dollars, which would be a very nice profit for the Aquilini family.
The worst is yet to come!
Notice how Darren Draeger ignores the elephant in the room — no mention of EP40 Elias Petterson. Rutherford and Allvin gave Petey one of the worst contracts in NHL history. He gets paid almost as much as Connor McDavid, for doing about 85% less. His lousy stats this season are a total drag on the team, and he's not going to get any better in the years ahead. Petey is a complete bust and Rutherford and Allvin need to explain why they were so confident he would live up to the expectations.

I live in Calgary and Craig Conroy has been outstanding with his trades and moves. The Flames are following Montreal’s rebuild path just a couple years behind and look set to become a powerhouse.
The Canucks are the opposite. Poor decisions from ownership down, no clear direction, and an outdated operation that needs a full teardown from top to bottom. Everyone needs to be fired including the stick boy!

any1 wanting to fire foote is dumb. we did a successful tank job and we need 1 or 2 more so who cares if he bad or not lmao also is one of the better defensmen to ever play the game and we have allot of d prospects that can learn from him.. what does any of it matter? they're dead last – so this time (or slightly later) last year, when they were "trying to make a big decision of who can they hire to be head coach" ('cuz tocchet left) – they all came to the conclusion that Adam Foote was the BEST CHOICE, to be the next coach, & so they hired him for said job, & gave him a 3 year contract…boyyyyyyy were they wrong ! turns out, he's the tank commander, & they're DEAD LAST 32nd in the league of 32 teams = worst season in franchise history (almost) !! so WTF do they know about anything, or making any "important decisions", clearly they know NOTHING they're idiots (logically; based on the results) > so fire all of these clowns! starting with ownership, then management, then coach, then players, then media, then fans
Keep the janitor, fire everyone else.
