Still can’t believe they collapsed again this season and in the fucking Centennial year to boot.. Jfc. They were sitting so good in the standings for the most part. Ok Tampa and Buffalo were coming on.. Montreal just kept winning and getting a ton of OT points.. ok they were down a few players .. fucking Yzerman shored up on Defence at deadline and they still couldn’t even hold onto a WC spot holy shit 🤣 fucking Ottawa.. Ottawa ffs is going to get in AGAIN. All they had to do was go .500 down the stretch 😂. I never seen a team that pisees away so much points in February and March like it’s just… they should seriously do a case study on this team on the magnitude of their collapses 3very single year What a fucking disaster of a season not getting into the playoffs.. did i expect them to advance pass thé 1st rd? Probably not but atleast make it into the POs is a bare minimum. Another waste of an entire season
This team needs to go 4-0, get help from Sens/BlueJackets with losses, and then pray they make it. Given what we have seen the last 6 weeks they would buckle under the pressure of playoff hockey and get swept. This offseason will be telling to see what changes are made that are significant to break this awful March/April cycle this group is now in for the 3rd season.
I miss the days when the Wings would be playing down the stretch for seedlings for the playoffs to try snd get home ice advantage.. Ooohh boy did I ever take that for granted all them years, now we’re sitt8ng here talking about getting help from other teams and having to rely on that shit… which never works out or very rarely does. This team has to understand that all 82 games soon to be 84 is so important throughout the season to get points.. not fucking trying to get them at game 70 or 77 or 80.

This team needs a massive core change. No one produces enough and we simply don't have the prospects to look into the future and hope for better like a Celebrini would give us.
