Bad state of affairs
As a Caps fan who has given up hope on the playoffs and was hoping for a loss to somewhat improve our extraordinarily mid draft pick, I appreciate the love you showed to our prospects. It reminded me it's not all dark in what's been a very mind-numblingly annoying season.
As a Caps fan I was so glad to see Lil Pro's first game was against the Leafs. I knew he was guaranteed at least one point.

Back in the very late 80's and early 90's Brett Hull was a scoring machine posting 3 straight 70 (and one 80) goal seasons.
then something happened…..the St.Louis Blues traded Adam Oates to Boston for Craig Janney and Brett Hull went from a 70-80 goal scorer to 50…and when Janney left Brett was a 30-40 goal guy, meanwhile Adam Oates found himself in Boston putting up 142 points, turns out Oates didn't need Hull the way Hull needed Oates.
