I grew up skating since I could walk. Having a rink' a block from your home, will give you a great advantage. My parents told me when I was 3 years old, I never wanted to leave the rink. It was that way for years' before I went to work, at the age of 16. I loved it' gave me one hell of a workout. I played soccer also. I believe Hockey players, are the most athletic athletes, in the world.
