  1. Should of,Would of,Could of! His career was derailed with KK unfortunately being a pawn in the ego and business side of the game. Hopefully he will be seen as a player instead of an asset.

  2. KK has the size and skills to be a solid player but he's not. It must be mental or confidence. To give him credit, his face offs have improved.

  3. You keep riding this KK Train! Canadians turned that 1st rd pick into C.Dvorak! Please! How that turn out? Plus KK is the 87th paid center in the league. Plus, Canadians are paying Danault 5.5 million for a 16 points in 64 games. KK has 9 points in 34 games. You’re so weak fundamentally.

  4. Only 4 players in the top 10 turned out much good. Not going to cry much about taking KK over Tkachuk. Might have missed out on Slaf, Demidov, Hage etc if Tkachuk would have improved Montreal a bit. In long run things might have worked out for the best.

  5. Wondering if the KK saga would have had a completely different turn, had he had a coach like MSL to develop him. Coach turned Caufield into a complete player, so maybe he could have worked some magic with KK. Of course, it would have depended on KK's openness to suggestion, willingness to accept criticism and to put in a lot of extra effort.

  6. To think that the Canes offered Koko to the Kings for Danault while Marc Bergevin was senior advisor to the GM in L.A. … the nerve!

  7. Kotkaniemi is done. Karma caught up to him. I despise him and Radulov. But, look at the CH now. Guys signing contracts and leaving money on the table so they can play with their mates.

  8. Can't believe we had a chance of drafting Brady Tkachuk or Quinn Hughes instead of this flop

  9. It was a failed Montreal draft pick who could have picked a franchise player. Picks they received so far have not produced much. It would suggest both teams lost. No winners.

  10. KK needs to play high in the line up at least as a 2nd line centre. He probably needs to go to a team with a long way to go to make the playoffs so he can play lots of minutes to get his confidence up.

  11. there's still no dismissing the fact that we still lost out here by taking him over Brady Tkachuk/Quinn Hughes in the first place. The Canes merely helped get us of the hook but thats it. We still wasted a 3rd overall pick here.

  12. Starting today, March 27-2026 Dobes (DOBY) won't achieve

a 50% win ratio for the remaining regular season games.

  13. Seems like Mark Bergevin's Aho offer sheet backfire may actually have been a 4D chess mastermind move where MTL and KK both won in the end.

  14. Wow, this is a little revisionist, no? Carolina didn't offer sheet Kotkaniemi because of the Aho situation, they just poked fun at Montreal when they did it. Montreal didn't choose to not match, they couldn't match because they didn't have the cap space.

  15. he had a good 1st season…but Montreal is party town across nhl ..at 18yo you must have discipline to not fall into night life…we have several example…ribeiro galchenyuk both kostitsyn higgins michael ryder Price almost fell into it Jose Theodore and many many more…

  16. You seem to envy the money KK has been paid, because you enjoy for time to time that KK has not stolen a #3 draft position, he was drafted by the GM Bergevin, he was paid by the Hurricanes, unfortunately he was not the type of players Rod Brond´amour needed.

  17. I loved this guy in Montreal. It’s sad the whole situation. A redemption story is needed back in Montreal as a 4th line Center.
