The Kings are actually not benefiting from the system. If the point system goes back to 2 points for win, 1 point for tie, and 0 point for loss, the Kings would be firmly in a playoff spot right now. They would still have all those one-point games from being tied with the other teams at the end of regulation while a bunch of teams would not get the extra points for beating the Kings in OT or SO. So there!

The Kings didn’t “Miss out” on DeBoer. I think we dodged a bullet. He wanted a 5 year contract. I’d love to see us get Roy! We got young goaltenders coming up and this team needs the Heart behind the bench.

Most people would say the Islanders future is much brighter than the Kings, We are old, slow and very few high end prospects in the pipeline
