  1. I don’t care who the GM is, but if they blow it up like that then go outside. However; I believe Yzerman is going to nuke this core. This team needs a superstar or two. Shift the timeline to Seider.

  2. Yzerman , Larkin and a few others they all gotta go BUT unfortunately I think Yzerman is on some kind of lifetime deal but they gotta blow this up but I don't think they are gonna do sh*t. They are the new Sabres but will they turn it around like the Sabres did….highly unlikely.

  3. FINNE is the weakest of them all. He looks lost out there and gets tossed around like a rag doll. The guy needs to be in the minors. He’s not close to being in the nhl. Any other nhl team would have him in the minors. It’s pathetic how we have 1 offensive line who produces goals. Literally… the other 3 do noooottthhiinngg

  4. I have completely checked out of this team emotionally for the season. It's a lot easier to not care since the current players don't.

  5. Love #19, but let’s face that he is not a great GM. We have given him more than enough time to turn this team around. Time for some new blood at his level and for Steve to go buy a golf course or something.

  6. well if yzerbluff can't figure out why mentally weak wings keep melting down in march he never will. sad to see 70 year old perron on top line lw and 70 year old kane take such a fkn stupid penalty. just a horribly constructed roster. yeah bringing in 2 old guys at tdl really got wings over their march hump yzerbluff.

  7. It’s time to fire everybody in the Red Wings organization. They’re an absolute joke and they cannot win in March.

  8. I really have to agree with what one YouTuber said. This is on the players. Everyone said new goaltender, he got a goaltender. They said make moves on the deadline, he made moves. They said get a blue liner, he got one. The player availability isn't what people want. Unless you want to give up two of the top five on the team. The player talent is not really out there.

  9. Steve is a goat on the ice – but people forget that his "team building" in Tampa was a lot more draft luck than anything else.

You get Hedman, Vassy, Stammer and Kuch (Yes, Kucherov was a great pick at 58, the rest were essentially forced high picks) – add to that a team in a warm weather state with tax breaks for players. Not exactly hard to build around.

We have some good draft winners in Detroit (Sieder, Raymon) but otherwise he has REFUSED to move any prospects for proven talent. We don't go after Hughes? We don't go all in for Thomas? We think Kasper and Finne will be the next wave?

The wings do NOT have a superstar. We have a captain who is a 2C on almost every other serious NHL roster, and a couple of top end wingers who have a ceiling of 80-95 pts a season at their best.

Cat is having a career season and putting the team on his back and he's 18th in scoring and there are 10 NHL rosters with at least one player with more points than him. Some teams have 2-3.

  10. The biggest issue, is trading for people at the end of their careers. Perron, Faulk, Talbot, Hamonic, Gibson.

We need better trades for players that make your team better now for years to come. Sure a older player gives a better experience, but some of these guys should be in the Griffin's and not the Show. I would rather not make it in with our youth and top prospects skating than just these guys cracking the line up. The only person who is exempt is Gibson, to which has played great.

Think about how much Cossa could have learned from Gibson this year?

  11. Yzerman ain’t the problem. We have culture and developmental issues within the organization. Kinda like Buffalo but with different people. Larkin, give up the C. Why are we hanging on to Tanguay???

    Terrible captain.
    Terrible player development.

  12. I believe that this team has a culture problem, more so than just a player problem, although, the players you do have are 3rd liners on other teams (to include Larkin). Larkin has 5 games worth of playoff experience, and he’s the leader of this group of men? This organization really needs to take a step back and finally decide that mediocre hockey is no longer acceptable in Detroit. Once they get that figured out, everything else will fall into place, but no one player or draft pick, or coach will solve this problem.

  13. People always need to blame someone and people always talk about what they don’t know about. These are the people that always know the problem, but just can’t fix it.

  14. Yzerman has failed and any talk of promotion for Draper is insane. He was big on Rasmussen and Danielson along with bending Hollands ear on Zadina. Our north american scouting is nothing short of goat roping. Terrible vet signings along with giving up players for mediocre return. Wallman comes to mind along with giving up a first on Faulk. The prospects are thin to be giving up first round picks. The team is soft and lacks heart talent and any kind of compete ethic. You can bet they will be the first ones on the golf course and right back at it in Traverse training golf camp. That camp is for winners not the garbage we have on the ice now. Excluding 6 roster regulars. Mo, Dylan, Lucas, Alex and Patrick along with Johm Gibson. The rest of the team are empty sweaters. Egghead Yzerman and chipmunk cheeks Draper need to go. Starts at the top.

  15. Again. Yzerman is not going anywhere. This team has no chemistry. That's on management. It's a complete mess.

  16. The Wings are now stuck in the horrible position of not being bad enough to get the needed high draft picks. These young guns we have obviously are not good enough to take this team over the top. Terrible position to be in. It's obvious Larkin's knee is injured. He is a problem in that he dissappears toward the end of the season. He's a good number 1 but would be a great number 2 center.

  17. ā€œLet Steve coook.ā€ Yzerbots (in Wojo’s effeminate sing-song voice)

Looking forward to the Yzerbots (who are totally not cultists) defend Steve by claiming, without evidence, that all hockey elite know that a NHL rebuild is a 14-16 year project and you don’t even get to start questioning the Dear Leader until at least 15 straight years of not making the playoffs.

  18. If the sens stay competitive, Brady isn't going anywhere. Anyone thinking he wants out or that sens fans don't like him ect ect go watch his on ice interview yesterday.

  19. Blow it up? Fire Yzerman? Wings started five 20 year olds this year and GR is the best minor league team in AHL history. Chill the f out and let the kids grow before you panic people. It took him almost 3 seasons to blow the old team up and another 3 to gather all these picks and prospects

  20. Sorry buddy but you’re living in a dream world if you think you’re getting Brady. This so called ā€œdramaā€ isn’t even real. It’s something that outside media has created. Ottawa loves Brady and doesn’t have plans to move him. Have fun being the new Buffalo!

  21. A couple of weeks ago, people were saying the wings were playing badly. Well, they must have a meeting and decided that they would so us what really bad is.

  22. What a disgusting disaster. We may have to literally blow it all up and start over. No playoffs for at least another 5 years 😢. The lost decade

  23. Why aren't we trading seider. He's the only person who has value. WE NEED GOAL SCORERS. EVERY PODCAST IGNORED ME ALL YEAR. IVE SAID THIS FOR MONTHS THE OFFENSE WASNT GOOD ENOUGH

  24. Can we just put it out there already or are people to proud but there's only one real team in this city at the moment and that's the Pistons. Want to know something different between the Pistons, Red Wings, And both kitty cat teams and that's an ownership that cares about winning and not just who's on the roster to gain more revenue. Wings, Tigers, Lions all straight ass šŸ‘‡šŸ»šŸ‘ŽšŸ». Yzerman is apparently not good or ownership has him under severe control because Stevie put the lightning on the map within like 5 seasons. So evidently the Illitch's and the Firestone/Fords/ and the rest of the beanboozles just dgaf šŸ¤·šŸæā€ā™‚ļø. Prove me wrong

  25. They checked out weeks ago. They absolutely quit.
I mean I guess you can blame Yzerman for this but this same team was in the top half of the standings and playoff bound a few months ago.
