What sense does that make in situations like this, if you want to stop other teams from going after the best players on another team, you retaliate by taking out one of their best players this is complete nonsense. When is the last time that a player got significantly injured in a fight? Meanwhile Matthew's is out gudas knew exactly what he was doing. He got into a fight and did not throw a punch so that this thing could be put to rest.

Domi is a coward for fighting a guy who’s intentionally not defending himself; Gudas already showed respect and humility for what he did. Plus, he even called Matthews to apologize for the injury! It’s pure cowardice from the Toronto guys not to accept an apology and then feel the need to beat on a guy who isn’t fighting back—twice. This is hockey, not ballet!
