Yea it was an awesome win but it should’ve been sealed kuemper has to come up with those saves the odd time kopi turns it over yes it shouldn’t happen but that’s what happens when you play a defence sound game to offence there’s bound to be mistakes the best coach’s allow the team to make mistakes bc more times then none they provide then let down but can’t do that with our “#1 starter” they team played good offence but subpar defence I loved the game but kuemper has to come up he left the team down luckily when it comes to the big picture he didn’t
Darcy kept this one close for the leafs. Sad to see him seemingly lose his fundamentals. Hope he can figure it out, but with how many goalie prospects we have, this is probably his last season for us.

Well see if they can win Monday , however Darcy really let them down the last two games and the Kings still got 3 points , hopefully they continue with offense and we get average or even sub par goal tending . Darcy stunk 6 goals on 20 shots , he’s still concussed from the rantanaan hit maybe .

All I know is if any of the remaining games go to shoot out ,you put in foresberg , Darcy is like 1-15 in the SO , you wanna leave him in OT fine , the SO , NO !
How bad did the Kings play giving up 20 shots?
They gave up 6 goals, but we need a goalie who is going to stop at least 9 out of every 10 shots.
You can say the Kings played terrible but allowing 20 shots is an absolutely great night defensively.
I'd take only giving up 20 shots a game any night of the week.
Our coach is clueless. He was talking about how Darcy is out guy because of his resume and because he trusts him for his hard work? That’s not what determines who should play. Anyone with eyes knows Forsberg is miles ahead better than Kuemper at this moment. we continue to allow too many goals when Kuemper is in net
They‘ll play Forsberg next and probably going forward.
"Fighting, clawing, and scratching" for everything AND looking like crap. If they start Kuemper, and special teams don't improve, they might as well wave the white sweater. I love that they pulled off the exciting win but they need to start playing with playoff fight and urgency.
The hit to the head of keumper from rantenan seems to have messed him up
1. Scoring 7 goals and beating one of the worst teams in the NHL while giving up 6 goals is hardly a "victory"
2. Once again, our team gives up a 3rd period lead

Watch the first goal again. It’s central, there’s a screen and it goes through the legs of the defenceman. I struggle to blame the goaltender for that.

I believe 35 will get the call Monday, with a very short leash.. The only reason we’re sniffing a WC spot because he was our best player for the first 40 or so games. I understand loyalty, but those timely saves have all but disappeared..
Panarin and Clarke are going to be dynamite 🧨 together. They’re always communicating which is great to see.
