The only Tkachuk that could be mentioned at the same time as Auston Matthews would have been Matthew and involve the invention of a time machine. If the Leafs could go back in time to the 2016 draft and trade their 2016 first pick draft position to Calgary for Calgary's sixth place pick, a second or third rounder and a roster player; JUST LOOK AT POSSIBLY THE LEAF'S COULD HAVE HAD. Matthew Tkachuk and Adam Fox from the draft and perhaps the choice of one of Mark Giordano, TJ Brodie or Dougie Hamilton off the roster. Instead, they picked Matthews and the rest is history.

Who are they trading for them ?
I will say Austin Matthew’s has a better chance of going there then Brady. I don’t know either player personally it’s just an opinion! Matthew’s should have been traded before marner in my opinion as well.

As a sens fan I could see a Brady for Jesper wallstedt or matt body trade, otherwise sens wouldn't make a trade and I could see boldy as a good fit for us as well
