He makes the most boine headed plays everyone keeps saying he doesnt do that. A lot of these guys in sports dont even watch the games. Yall talk and eat. Actually watch the game so you can provide some real analysis. EST is terrible
hes scores 2 goals and we still loose 7-5, allows 3-4 goals a night while on the ice, he is not among the leagus greats on puck movement. he cannot and does make that 170ft passes 9-10 times more like 1-2 times is more accurate and the remaing get puck on the opponents stick and in the back of our net. we all ready have one under performer at 9 million and now we have 2. to make matters worse nobody wants nor would trade for them. 🙁
He has the Erik Karlsson stigma which is 100% correct. When Chris Pronger was asked why (in San Jose) did him and Brent Burns not work together he said neither know how to play defense. Scott Neidermeyer recently said the same thing (in general of how defenseman play; and if he played (Makar, Bouchard, Werenski) most likely would have been benched if he took the risks a lot of d-men do)
It's more important to do comparisons to today's players and also the players who are producing at the same level as Bouchard.
The fans problem is they think there is a + 150 and 75 point player
Cale Makar – Plus/Minus: +32.
Points: 69 points (20 goals, 49 assists).
Zach Werenski
Plus/Minus: +12.
Performance: 78 points (21 goals and 57 assists)
Evan Bouchard
Plus/Minus: +22 86 points (20 goals and 66 assists)
He's not Cale Makar, but he's not Erik Karlsson either

Bouchard could be more aggressive along the boards but his slapper, wrist shot, and drag move are among the best in the league.
Let's see how the Edmonton Oilers do tonight against the Chicago Blackhawks Evan might change things ❤
I have said for years that his calm demeanor that makes people think he does not care is his biggest assets and why he is so good in the playoffs
Oddly enough, Coffee was the same, blank face, didn't show emotion. Maybe that's why Bouch has improved, Coffee is his most relatable influence.
He always kicks it in to overdrive come the playoffs. Who cares about the regular season.
I jsut wish he knew how to play defence he'd win the Norris

The video game crowd loves him but the hockey crowd knows those tragic mistakes are coming at the worst moments
maybe he gets played too much time in a game. it is not a punishment thing it is an actual reality thing that is in the conduct of playing the game.
Unreliable on a consistent basis! But he's #1 hands down he's one of the top defenseman! Undoubtedly!
He quits on plays. He is on the ice for every goal qgainst every single game.
