How can Montreal not have clinched a playoff spot already? They are a head of Buffalo and tied at 100 points and Buffalo have clinched but not Montreal. If Montreal losses all their matches and Detroit wins all theirs we are tied but her have more regulation wins than them.

You guys are braindead. There is a shift in the league that even happened in the NBA! They want to get away from the Physicality a bit and increase scoring. A team of undersized players are outplaying their expectations lol! This never works in the playoffs since other teams will just plaster you onto the boards! Just look what happened this year. Florida and Toronto are somehow not in the playoffs but the other weaker teams that are on the verge of selling at one point are in the playoffs!
Injury after Injury has supposedly put 2 of the best teams out of commission and given rise to the Sabres, Canadians and Wings lol!
I remember one game where the Canadians were using their speed to come down the wing and create a scoring chance because theyre so small and so fast that the other team would wait at the blue line and plaster them onto the boards lol!
As they play the next games, ask yourselves, why are they being hit. Especially in the playoffs it will be very interesting.
One thing the league hates is when a team cannot afford to continue and wants to sell!
If not for the playoffs, these teams are in huge trouble and if not for Florida and Toronto not being in the playoffs and somehow not playing well, these 3 teams would be back to the bottom of the league. You will see a shift from the bigger oversized players to the smaller, faster players over time.
Sports has been destroyed thanks to 1. Gambling. 2. Players wanting more and more and more! Shorter term contracts will be the most coveted and the show must go on!

Pretty sure if the Habs finish ahead of Buffalo that they get third in the Conference, right? Who’s the weakest team of the 8 in it? Pretty sure it’s six seed , Islanders. If the Habs draw the Islanders in the first round, that’s ideal as it can get imo.

Let’s not forget last year Dobes lost his first game to the devils after 6 game winning streak. This fall he lost again to NJ after another 6 game winning streak. He absolutely did not want to lose this game which is why we started to force plays at the end of the game. If he would have lost the devils would have ended for a 3rd time his winning streak.
MTL will clinch a playoff spot tomorrow at the Bell Center on a game where Cole will get #50 and 51, Suzuki will get to 98 points with a 3 points night, Demidov will score again, Hutson will get 2 more assists. It will be a fantastic night for the fans! Wish I had tickets to the game.

I also want Demidov to get 20, he's getting hot now. I think next year he will get 20 to 30 easily, he's missing the net less and on the pp he always goes next to the net for an easy goal.
