  1. Drysdale reminds me of Nick Schultz really passing and really good defensively but not fantastic but I think he plays his game like Nick Schultz just more offensively skilled

  2. Yo this channel doesn't get the recognition it deserves, I can see how much effort you put into making these videos. Keep up the good work

  3. Hey Will. I think you provide the best prospect breakdowns of anyone available on the public net and its not even close. Just a comment .. and maybe its just me but I find the last 3-4 a little rushed. More time , or examples of the points you are making .. lets say in this case on decision making or defensive zone play .. I am not trying to disagree with you, just want to see what caused your to form your opinion. I love your work and I am old school 🙂 so keep it coming please

  4. I really enjoy watching Drysdale but his zone clearing is what's been bothering me, especially in the world juniors.

  5. Excellent video! You rarely see someone diving that deep into a top prospect's detailed weaknesses like you just did with Drysdale and that is great.

Before the video, I had him at #3 because I couldn't pass on a potential #1 D, but he is staying still even after watching it. The elements you noted as his weaknesses in the DZ such as being on the ground on 2v1 or dumping the puck by the boards when under pressure are all things that can be learned. And, like you said, he obviously has the skills to be an effective player in these situations, so it really is a matter of a learning curve but I am not worried at all.

And I think he is an exciting prospect even though he doesn't make the highlights everyday 😉

  6. Apparently people have stated Erie Otters was a turnover machine last season so a lot of Drysdale %'s are going to vary if he were playing on a better team. He still is very capable and offers the NHL that new type of defenseman who exploits situations and rushes into the offensive zone.
