The US Open is the final Grand Slam of the year and takes place at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. The 2022 US Open saw Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz and Poland’s Iga Swiatek claim the men’s and women’s singles titles. It was both players’ first US Open title, with Alcaraz claiming his first Grand Slam title and Swiatek claiming her third Grand Slam title. The 2023 US Open main draw is scheduled to go ahead between August 28 – September 10.   1. Classic tennis is still the best, I hope marathon tennis will be back or maybe hopefully they'll lengthen a bit the tiebreak from 7-6 to 9-9 then the one who'll get 10 by winning 7 shots or ahead of 2 in case

  2. Hard to believe how fast time goes by. This was 6 years after Sabatini actually won The US Open 1990, against Graf in the championship match in 2 sets. Sabatini was 20 when she won it in 1990, so here she is still only 26, at retirement. I thought she would win more majors and she was very close at Wimbledon 1991 to beating Graf again in a major tournament. At least she won a major title. But she cometed in the area of players like Graf,Seles and Navratiova, retiring before the Williams sisters era.
