Buffalo Sabres reach ONE HUNDRED POINTS on the season as they take down the New York Islanders

The Buffalo Sabres get the win over the New York Islanders in a 4-3 win at KeyBank Center led by a dominate performance from especially Tage Thompson, who was a man possessed on the night, and Peyton Krebs who scores another critical goal in the 3rd period. The Sabres outplayed the Islanders with all four lines, and made star rookie Matthew Schaefer look human, constantly pressuring the New York defensemen. Will Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen continue to start after another strong performance?

Plus, the Zach Metsa – Logan Stanley pairing continues to look like the Sabres best third pair, which the numbers back up. And with the Canadiens winning over the Tampa Bay Lightning, the potential playoff scenarios are growing. Could the Sabres get unlucky and have to play Tampa in Round 1? Or could a dream scenario work out where the Lightning end up on the other side of the East bracket?

  1. I'm not sure how the refs were able to exit the stadium yesterday. literally worst, most biased officiating in any game I've seen to date.

  2. Watch Zach Metsa score the GW goal tomorrow vs. the Sens to help us clinch our first playoff spot in 15 years!

  3. Power was on ice for all islander goals. If Carrick is out play Power in his place, and replace Power with Timmins.

  4. Was at the game and they let the refs hear it. Can’t believe how you could see the ref watching, see a penalty and then turn away. Was ridiculous. I usually don’t complain about officiating too much in hockey but it was bad.

  5. I can't wait to get my cash out for betting on the Sabres to clinch the playoffs. I bet $35 back in December and that's gonna be $110 cash out

  6. All those stats about expected goals for goals against and then judging whether a guy had a bad game or not is pretty much nonsense. You can pretty much tell if the guy had a bad game by watching if you know what you’re looking at.
