If Doug gives Alshon a majority of the snaps over Fulgham, it will be inexcusable. Fulgham is putting up top 5 WR production over the past month. But, nothing would surprise me. This coaching staff feels Nate Gerry is a NFL starting LB. Common sense is lacking in areas.
This guy is THOUROUGHLY a coach. He is so detailed in his analysis of players, situations, and events affecting players and team, many could rash judge his mistakes and overlook the successes ha has had with over a 70% injury percent on starter offense and can still post wins. FRom the very first day of the season with the loss of Sanders, Reagor, DEsean, Ertz, etc., the only "survivors" were Kelsey and Wentz; Wentz got all the flack for poor play, fumbles, bad decisions etc.,. The truth is that his "go to" guys were out and Wentz got left to control the ship . Situations like that ALWAYS reveal shortcomings while both coach /QB scramble to plug the holes with 2nd/3rd string players; I think it's a tribute to Doug's "Blanket coaching-everybody plays-next man up " approach that has helped the WHOLE team to recover and play GREAT! GO EAGLES!!
