  1. Can't believe Toronto hired him after what he did to the Flames, now they will have to go into a long rebuild and bye bye Matthews

  2. He was trying to make them tougher which they needed but all the players got broken down. Losing first one picks is a bad deal and I still think they need a top goalie.

  3. Toronto is most likely going to wait until after the regular season ends to decide on what to do regarding Craig Berube's future with the organization.

  4. They did it now so the new guy can potentially figure out what he has and what he needs during games rather than off season. We'll see how fast the new guy sits down at the desk.

  5. Brad destroyed the flames and let Johnny Gaudreau go for nothing. What did the leafs think they were getting

  6. He clearly wasn't prepared for the job. As a Canucks fan, still want to see fellow CDN teams do well. Get a better GM out there, knew Brad wasn't the man for the job day 1! Downgrade from Shanahan Dubas.

  7. The right move to fire Tree. Then fire Berube at the end of the season. Then blow up the team. They cannot be re-tooled. Trade for draft picks and expect 3 or 4 seasons at the bottom.

  8. To not protect a top 10 pick in that dumbass Carlo trade is just dumb dumb. He so short sited. Brian Burke 2.0. Trade away an excellent prospect and a 1st not even top 10 protected for gd brandon Carlo jfc this dude.

  9. Probably the cushiest and most overpaid job I can think of… "relieved" NHL says😂😂😂

  10. Correct move by the Leafs. Brad Treliving was too busy trading away the Leafs future for bottom of the lineup old players. Now the Leafs organization will have to find ways of salvaging assets and getting free wallets because they are without a first round pick for a few years.

  11. Let’s face it: playing for the leafs has become unbearable for players who choose to play in Toronto. The pressure has become too immense—it’s like playing under a microscope. I’m almost making it official that I’ll never see the leafs win a Stanley cup in my lifetime, but I’m still a fan no matter what happens!!

  12. A few weeks ago we saw what Canadian hockey is worth nowadays. Firing him won’t do much, issues run far deeper than that.

  13. A shame the Leas fired this clown after he 'ruined' the team for years to come, just as he did in Calgary.
