There goes our biggest addition at the deadline. Stanley and Schenn won't help us at all in the playoffs like they had planned, Stanley has been better but is still a liability. But Carrick (the quiet addition that nobody really gave much thought to) has been an absolute beast since coming to Buffalo. Having said that, his health comes before hockey. Hopefully it isn't anything major… could be anything so I don't want to speculate. Just sucks to see him go down like that AFTER the whistle. Like Rayzor said… it's time to think about trying to make it into the postseason healthy.
I had a game at the Harbor Center tonight (it's the twin rink next to the arena) and I was leaving, saw what looked like a player leaving with their left arm in a sling. He was walking under his own power. If it was Carrick, hopefully it's not too serious, because he would be at the hospital by now if otherwise.
