Meet the man who became an IRONMAN.

Watch Ross Edgley’s Great British Swim Final Swim LIVE: https://win.gs/GBSFinalSwim Episode 7 of our Dedicate series follows Bradden Currie as he transitions from adventure racer to being a triathlete.

2017, for New Zealand’s multi-sport athlete, Braden Currie was, to put it into modest terms, quite the year as he trained for and raced in the 2017 IRONMAN World Championship. During the year, the determined Kiwi not just went outside of his comfort zone, from he flourished outside of it as he transitioned from adventure racer to elite triathlete.

  1. I am usually never interested in stories of top 10, but mostly they are highlights Great to have heard him, he is a champ.

  2. Man he was so unlucky with the injury, flat tyre, penalty, wth. Seems like a very hardworking nice guy. He’s already a winner

  3. Brutal… it's like the universe set out to give him the worst race conditions possible after such great preparation. Steps on an urchin 3 days out, flat tire in the bike, then a penalty. Rough.

  4. I feel terrible for him. To be in first place during the bike phase only to have a flat tire followed by a five minute penalty. That has to be gut wrenching. He's going to spend forever wondering "What if…".

  5. wat uve achieved… only 1% of world's population can achieve!!!! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
    So ur an spartan
    ur an alpha man
    ur
    an
    ironman….

  6. Today's June 3rd world's cycling day 2020 in quarantine I participated and I won 2nd watching this bought me tears life is not fair sometimes but keep on going brings the real heart much more bigger realization than of winning. Iam from a poor family and always its been a hurdle for me to compete in games but the quarantine has given me an opportunity to finally get that joy of doing wat you actually feel confident and challenged. True power is within us. Dnt give up even when life is not fare, just keep pushing.

  7. Apply papaya to your foot if you ever step on a sea urchin. The spines become easier to pull off then!!

  8. I'm 20 now and i will become an ironman in about 10 years. I will prepare 10 years for it and am preparing now also every single day. I wont give up no matter what comes up. Life is beautiful!

  9. This is nothing! Daniel Quigley has just completed 10 Ironman challenges in 10 consecutive days!

  10. This man was multi sport champion before Ironman. Has to be one of the best all round endurance athletes on the planet…proud kiwi too.
