I liked Brad Treliving's personality, but man, as a Flames fan, we're doing a rebuild due to Brad Treliving, influenced arguably by Murray Edwards', poor player management. Toronto needs their version of Craig Conroy.

There is an article in French about Marc Bergevin former Montreal GM, being a potential candidate for Treliving replacement… If it is confirmed that will make a good SDPN show when you consider how Adam Wylde is not a fan of him. By the way, has a Habs fan i hope you get a better GM than him despite Bergevin being the GM who built a team that went in the Stanley cup finale and one that reached the conference finale.
Bring in Armstrong. Build a team with all CANADIAN PLAYERS. McDavid era starts in 2027.

A BLIND MAN COULD HAVE MADE THE DRAFT CHOICES THAT OCCURRED. EVER SINCE THE MATTHEWS SELECTION, THIS HAS BEEN COMPLETELY STARK. MONUMENTAL MISSTEPS WITH REGARD TO SIGNING FREE AGENTS AND THE ABSOLUTE WORST DECISIONS HAVE BEEN TURNING THEIR BACK ON THE YOUTH COMING IN. NOW MANY OF THOSE PRODUCTIVE PLAYERS ARE NOW WITH OTHER TEAMS. THIS LIST OF GAFFS IS JUST ANOTHER INDICATOR THAT HOCKEY DECISIONS ARE NOT BEING MADE BY SMART HOCKEY PEOPLE. Two things: Great leaders never go in and just start making wholesale change without having a reference point to set organizational values (that is something every military leader is taught out of the gate, quick analysis and some tweaks yes), agree on the lack of decision making. There are only three types of decisions, the best decision is a always the best decision, making a poor decision is always the next best decision (it leads to thoughtful change), the worst decision is always no decision. Bar none, making no decision leaves you in the same spot. That never is a good choice, because it leaves you vulnerable. To the Maple Leafs organization and the fans, I hope y’all figure it out. It is hard to cheer against a bad team.
