Went into the kitchen for a sec and heard the TV say “Kastelic gonna go!” so I ran back in saying “no no no” cuz I knew who he’d be fighting. Kastelic is a tough son of a gun but Olivier is in another class 🤷♂️
What the fuck is the point chasing the frozen hamburger patty around trying to shoot it in the trawl when it's the scraps that really matter, it's the donny the fans come for. (Never could understand ice wrestling, is this really a sport?)
The Bruins were getting ragdolled up to that point. These two fights totally changed the momentum of the game. Kudos to the four fighters! Those were two heavyweight bouts!
Now those were real HW scraps. Gundrbransson is a big , bad dude. He has hardly fought this year and takes on Jeannot who’s had a great year scrapping and established himself as one of the top guys. As for Olivier the guy is a savage. Strong as hell and a great technical guy who throws hard, fast, accurate punches. Saw a pic of Olivier with a t-shirt on and he is jacked. Not to mention could hit the 20 goal mark this season. As for Kastelic he is a Bomber so have to respect that but he was just outclassed Today. They play again in a few weeks so could potentially see Oliver vs TJ
Olivier is a manimal. So is Jeanott. Big difference between NHL and AHL. Olivier said he switched from trading punches in the AHL, to a need for strategic fighting in the NHL. That Bruin that fought Olivier had to be a call up from the minors. I know players want to prove themselves worth of being an NHL enforcer , but picking Olivier is just a bad idea. Likely just got called up, so likely not much time to pick a player on a certain team. Just sayin. Like others noted. Jeanott vs Olivier was the proper matchup.
I think it’s without question, Jeannot is the best technical fighter in the NHL . Great timing and counter punching and most importantly can stay on his feet throughout
The Bruins and The Blue Jackets are the only 2 teams that have real men Hockey Players, not all these fluffy MF's skating around with TA as Nilan would say.

thanks CB great fights.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, if you voluntarily take on Olivier you already have brain damage.
I love it
The announcer can't hide his excitement.
Stupid Kastelic, talk about taking a team momentum down.
Man Jeannot is tougher than coffin nails!
Real fights 😭 👏 👏 👏
Should've been jeannot vs olivier

best video of the year
Olivier has that Probert style pull and punch keeping his opponent off balance as much as possible.

Some of the best technical fights ive ever seen in hockey those uppercuts were deadly
Olivier is just a beast
Kastalic looks like a toddler. He got absolutely destroyed. Bet the Boston feed he won easily

Olivier literally didn't land a single punch outside the helmet. Odd glazing.
Olivier took Kastelic to dinner at the all you can eat knuckles buffet.
I hate fights. Just play

Kastelic could have went out cold.
Olivier is just too damn good. Hands down the best scraper in the NHL.
Mathew Olivier..!!! Looks like he was on the wrong end,..but no!!!
Tanner is a bad ass
