It's frustrating to be so close but then have to deal with Crosby getting hurt in the Olympics, followed by a suspension to Geno that was actually more harsh than two more violent offenses in the following weeks by repeat offenders, followed by Letang falling off a cliff. It's like, oh so close….but I think we all have that quiet fear they'll miss it by a point or two…and we'll think about all the stupid losses (three to the Leafs anyone?) and the lack of any prowess in the shootout.
