IMPRESSIVE PENALTY KILL

With Canada trailing Russia 1-0 in the late stages of the first period,
check out how Casey Cizikas lifts his team with an aggressive fore checking
shift helping him team kill a crucial penalty. Canada would come back to tie
the game just minutes later and eventually go on to win their opening match
at the 2011 World Junior Hockey Championship in Buffalo with a 6-3 win.

  1. The Silver's AN option, Canada. Great game though.
Проснулся в 3 и не пожалел, спасибо, ребята!

  2. @Mattlanders17
    Vancouver: Burrows, Luongo
    Toronto: Phaneuf, Schenn, Reimer, Kadri
    Ottawa: Spezza
    Montreal: Cammalleri, Price
    Calgary: Iginla, Stajan
    Edmonton: Dubnyk, Hall, Eberle

    You missed a few.

  3. @Mattlanders17 Canadian Players aren't necessarily the most skilled but they are the strongest, smartest and hardest working. Russians are fast, Swedes are skilled, Finns make great goalies and are generally fairly crafty like the Swedes and Americans are gritty, but there is no doubt Canadians combine all of those traits the best. Watch Canada vs USA it's a gritty game, Canada vs Sweden/Finland there's lots of dangles, Canada vs Russia it's fast paced, end to end. OH CANADA

  4. Reimer is a joke.. Kadri has yet to prove himself, so I'll let that one go, but seriously. James Reimer is a media glorified joke. It's too bad cause hes a nice kid.

  5. I can't wait to see Casey Cizikas kick ranger ass, why are you people talking about different players and different teams? This is an islanders prospect.

  6. What about Kyle Turris (Ottawa)? Sam Gagner (Edmonton)? Bieksa (Vancouver)? Lupul (Toronto)? P.K. Subban(Montreal)? Evander Kane (Winnipeg)?

  7. I was in the arena for that, and as a crowd, we felt that shift. Glad someone posted this.
