I will never understand why the coaching staff did not inject him into the 24/25 playoffs not to mention the FINALS when the team needed a spark and take out injured hadn't done nothing since they got him Trent Fredrick! Been saying it from day one this guy is going to bring the energy when he's in the lineup and he sure did tonight with a GWG and a big hit on Sherwood. Great team effort exactly what was needed. Will never forget his first game I believe as an Oiler and Jake's along with Mikko in Edmonton when they lit him up behind the net and the blue line! Hoping the coaching staff realizes the big mistake they made not injecting him last year in the Finals with the play he provides going forward. 👏

I'm glad to see the Oilers are doing well without Leon Draisaitl. I can't believe they said Draisaitl is expected to miss the rest of the regular season. Hopefully, he will come back before the end of the year but who really knows? Draisaitl was overused this year, starting with faceoffs with the Oilers (always seemingly taking those important faceoffs) and then the Olympic break. He's practically played a full year if you look at it, especially with the Olympics.
