Recap: San Diego Gulls vs Bakersfield Condors, 3.20.2026

The San Diego Gulls erupted for seven goals in a high-powered 7-4 win over the Bakersfield Condors on Friday night at Pechanga Arena. The Gulls came out flying, scoring four times in the opening period behind goals from Judd Caulfield, Stian Solberg, Matthew Phillips on the power play, and Justin Bailey to take a commanding 4-2 lead after one. Despite Bakersfield answering twice in the frame, San Diego’s offensive pace and early shot advantage set the tone, with contributions coming up and down the lineup.

San Diego stayed in control the rest of the way, highlighted by Tristan Luneau’s second-period game-winning goal and a two-assist night from Nathan Gaucher. Nikita Nesterenko added an insurance tally in the third before Cal Burke sealed the win with an empty-net goal. The Gulls finished with 24 shots and went 1-for-2 on the power play, while limiting Bakersfield to just 19 shots. The victory was fueled by balanced scoring and timely offense, with six different Gulls finding the back of the net.
