Honestly, that was an accident and on both players. Spence didn't have to cut off Lee and push him into Reimer/the crease, Lee had enough space to his right and his stick kinda got raised by Spence's shove. 2 might've been fine but I don't think it was an outrageous miss.
There are two refs who both missed it. It’s so funny to watch all these clowns constantly punking McCauley. The puck was not at the tendies neck. That’s how it was missed.

Easy to miss. Plays like this can happen fast. You're tracking the puck. Glance one way and then back, and the play is over. Refs are human.
If you think you can do better, please pick up a whistle and help out. It's not like we have an oversupply of refs.

That looked like an accident. Stick would have missed but the stick got backed into in turn jamming it into his neck. Glad he's ok
