The Montreal Canadiens exploded offensively in a massive 7-3 win over the New York Islanders, powered by a statement performance from Cole Caufield.

After a tight, back-and-forth game through two periods, the Canadiens completely took over in the third, exposing defensive breakdowns and running away with it. Caufield led the charge with a hat trick and five-point night, while Juraj Slafkovský and Nick Suzuki piled on with dominant multi-point performances.

This wasn’t just a win—it was a momentum swing. The Habs showed they can flip a switch offensively and bury teams, while the Islanders once again struggled to close out a competitive game, collapsing late when it mattered most.

  1. Ouf his 17 minutes black screen will hurt his algorithm. His watch time by his vidéo will likely be less than 50%.

Put your phone on silent and let your phone play thought the blsck screen.

  2. Created in 1999, could Caufield become the FIRST CH player to EVER WIN the Rocket Richard Trophy?! 🏆💥

  3. I don't know if this will be a popular or unpopular opinion, but brung back "Na Na Na Na" over "olé olé olé olé".

  4. D coverage better, here and there but maybe this team should just open it up and outscore teams. I know it's dangerous but this team is not a Cup contender….yet.

  5. I cant really blame Hutson … man poor boy he play right side again … and that is why his last fews games araint great

  6. Its hard seeing Laine in these dressing room shots… gotta be tough for the players too. You gotta feel fer the guy just watching from the sidelines

  7. The stare Bolduc gave to Roy when the goal was being contested was also absolute cinema lol. (Pat coached Bolduc in the past so they know each other quite well)

  8. What was all that booing toward young Matthew Schaefer? As a Montrealer and long time Glorieux fan, I thought that was disrespectful and disappointing.

  9. Interference 1000% hits him from behind , called all the time the refs where brutal again… but we played better than the refs refred

  10. It's a good thing I get Valium from my doctor. Every season, the last 2-3 weeks are so stressful. I want to see Caulfield pass McDavid for most goals. That would be epic. He's almost there!!

  11. Was honestly such a nice game to absolutely DOMINATE the Islanders. We really needed that one and Caufield pickin up the hatty was such a nice feels good. Was hoping Slaf would've been able to get one too Bell Centre wouldve EXPLODED.

Caufield setting up in his office and hitting those, actually blows my mind. If you give him a sliver of space he will sink it EVERYTIME. Literal SNIPER.

ALSO that 100% is INTERFERENCE. Skating backwards, HIS ice and the Islander player DIRECTLY skates into him removing and NEGATING that pressure that would've resulted onto the player coming down it is BASICALLY setting a pick and habs didnt have possession either. Islanders player had TONS of space to move around / avoid and instead directly goes into the unaware player. That is literally TEXTBOOK definition of interference, my guy needs to read rule 56 (Section 7 – 56.1 AND 56.2). That is 100% interference. I think North is just sick of people whining about the officiating which is totally understandable cause it does GET TIRING but i think people do have a reason to whine about it when sh*t like that happens so often in habs games it is basically second nature at this point and it does add up mentally as well constantly seeing such calls like that over and over.

I think we take our W and carry it forward and GO ON A HEATER! We need these points so bad! Also.. i LOVED the Nah nah..hey hey hey goodbye, just RUBBING IT IN… Bell Centre is WILD 😂 As always thank you for the recap!

OH.. ps thanks for the chill vibes ASMR 😅

  12. Habs maintaining a lead… win in regulation… winning by more than 1 goal… I used to pray for times like these

  13. Fowler will have lapses, he is still only 20. You needed to show the look Boldy gave Roy for calling the coaches challenge for the off-side.

  14. Goal Caufield got a hat trick of hat tricks 🎉😊😮😂❤ great game…go habssssss 😳🙏🏆

  15. Hey @wiskeylung im French Canadien love your vid!!! Little tip when you’re saying ( Nos attaquants de départ). In french when theirs two T you don’t pronounce the two T. its in one sound. What your saying is atataquant… Its only one (atta)quant. (Ataquant) Attaquants. You need tho pronounce it (at)(taquant)..Don’t know if its clear🤣

  16. 1st GOAL: was on FOWLER, way too deep for some reason.

2nd GOAL: was on STRUBLE. He's going way in the zone, trying to play the cycle when HUTSON is trying to weave and bob. He should have been doing his JOB, protecting HUTSON ffs. And, FOWLER didn't look too good on the deke.
FOWLER would love those 2 goals back. He's way better than that.

3rd GOAL: Deflected off a NYI player, so can't fault FOWLER on that. It wasn't a straight shot. That's why he was on his knees when it beat him high. (Just like Guhles' goal was deflected by an NYI player) Unlike Motombo, who gets on his knees for every shot from 30+ feet out.

    BONUS OPINION
On MTL's 5th GOAL, SUZUKI made SCHAEFER look foolish! PERIOD. If these are the kind of "amazing defensive playa" that the entire league is talking about SCHAEFER? I did NOT see it last night. If you ask me, he's an ice time hog, and a shot whore. Not to insult the 18-year-old, but the fact he's 18 seems to be what gives him ALL the leverage in the world over ALL other rookies.

  17. Actually, HUTSON was the one who stick-lifted Pelechs' stick from behind, so CAUFIELD just pokes the loose puck towards some dude called SUZUKI…and then. You know.
    GREAT BREAKDOWN!

  18. Fowler looked like a high school goalie on those 3 goals he let in. That's not a 'goalie of the future' type of performance. The Habs were lucky the Isles' D and their goalies imploded. Those 3 goals Fowler let in would have been a big L in the playoffs. Dobes is the best goalie they have for now and let's hope Fowler makes a decent Brian Hayward type of backup. Monty is getting further and further away in the rear-view mirror.

  19. Can we get behind the following on chants :
GoHabsGo = Let’s go! Step it up !
Olé Olé = momentum chant… keep it up. (Could be down in the game but pushing).
Nanana = We smoked you, you can go home now.
