  1. Kucherov being a +44 and now two points ahead of McDavid, who is a +8 on the season, really shows the difference in the pacific and Atlantic divisions.

  2. That royal blue Blue Note pops miss those jerseys, The retros Vancouver wore tonight are great too reminded me of the Russian Rocket days.

  3. If Kuch wins the art Ross for the 3rd year in a row and once again doesn’t get the hart, shows NHL press aren’t even trying to hide their bias.

  4. caufield needs 7 goals in 13 games for 50 and is only 2 back of mackinnon for the league lead. i'd say it's more than an outside chance for both.

last time a hab scored this many was stephane richer's 51 in 89-90.

  5. Can't believe it took Kucherov until now to score his first shorty, guy just doesn't play on the PK

  6. 0-6-0 for the pacific today AND
0-5-0 for western conference teams that played an eastern conference team today

  7. Sucks that detroit lost tonight. Outplayed boston in every way except goaltending. Holy swarming. Also some scrappy luck scoring .01 after time expired in first. If we play like this we will do well night in night out

  8. I am a habs fan and tbh I am getting nervous, that playoff race is extremely tight on the east

  9. I didn’t like Columbus’ special teams against Seattle, but my Lord is their 5 on 5 play ELITE. If CBJ plays like this every game the rest of the season like we have been, we will be a contender

  10. NYI-MTL – This was a good game. Until it wasn't… 😃…Anders Lee made an absolutely sick pass while draped over the defenseman – highlight reel stuff. Then they melted down in the 3rd…BOS-DET – I had made a comment about a week ago that DET has a punishing schedule for the rest of March, but they need to win at least 3 of these March games to stay in it. This was one of those games…The Curse of Art Ross. You would think that analytics, and perhaps common sense would've gotten rid of this goalie pulling stunt, but no. They keep doing it, thereby handing out free goals at the end of the game. The dimensions at the net DO NOT CHANGE – regardless of how many attackers you have – at the leader's net being defended. You still only have a few square inches to grease a puck through a well defended goal. But those dimensions CHANGE DRASTICALLY at the other end. It's like shooting a basketball into a swimming pool. Not hard. An undefended goal is of ZERO use to any team, especially one just a goal down, but unfortunately teams get lucky just enough for NHL coaches to keep drinking this rancid Kool-Aid. And I do realize that I am the lone wolf howling about this, but it is complete nonsense…CLB undefeated in regulation in the last 10. The Jackets are for real. The Isles, Wings, and Bruins need to get out the smelling salts and go to work. Now… 🙄

  11. It is looking increasingly likely that we are going to have a postseason without any of the New York area’s three nhl teams for the first time since 1966.

  12. "In typical Red Wings fashion…" See! Even a non-Wings fan can see how unlucky they are!

But yes, Gibson could definitely use a break. I think that was like his 8th straight start.

  13. 3/21 Update
Hey Puckheads and Happy Birthday Ms THG!
    WOW! A 9-1-1 Saturday for @TracyJean1972 and @mattlabrecque7842!
I had a better than average HNIC – going 7-3-1

  14. Can a Canadian go any legit period of time without complaining about referees..try it..these man are human beings following the fastest sport there is..maybe AI should be referring the games..see if you'd enjoy that

  15. Flyers are 4 points out of the wildcard with a game in hand on Detroit plus 3 of their last 13 games are against Detroit. We are definitely not out of it.

  16. Tbf Canucks winning 13 in a row from here would be pretty much on brand. Somehow manage to get out of last and best draft lottery odds.

  17. Minnesota probably wishing their record was a little worse than it is so they could be the top wild card spot instead of 3rd in the Central. Then they'd get to play in the Pacific portion of the bracket.

  18. Detroit is playing themselves right out of the playoffs! They don't have the fighting edge they need to win meaningful games A Red Wings Fan since 67!

  19. With how dire the Pacific is this year, I can't wait for one of their number to somehow win the Stanley Cup.

  20. The boos for Betman when he awards the cup this year should be the loudest they've ever been.

  21. looks like everyone in the pacific was jealous of vancouver and decided to lose yesterday's games xD
