NYI-MTL – This was a good game. Until it wasn't… 😃…Anders Lee made an absolutely sick pass while draped over the defenseman – highlight reel stuff. Then they melted down in the 3rd…BOS-DET – I had made a comment about a week ago that DET has a punishing schedule for the rest of March, but they need to win at least 3 of these March games to stay in it. This was one of those games…The Curse of Art Ross. You would think that analytics, and perhaps common sense would've gotten rid of this goalie pulling stunt, but no. They keep doing it, thereby handing out free goals at the end of the game. The dimensions at the net DO NOT CHANGE – regardless of how many attackers you have – at the leader's net being defended. You still only have a few square inches to grease a puck through a well defended goal. But those dimensions CHANGE DRASTICALLY at the other end. It's like shooting a basketball into a swimming pool. Not hard. An undefended goal is of ZERO use to any team, especially one just a goal down, but unfortunately teams get lucky just enough for NHL coaches to keep drinking this rancid Kool-Aid. And I do realize that I am the lone wolf howling about this, but it is complete nonsense…CLB undefeated in regulation in the last 10. The Jackets are for real. The Isles, Wings, and Bruins need to get out the smelling salts and go to work. Now… 🙄
